Now that the Fall 2013 season is over, it was only right to make a highlight video recapping the season. This video highlights the first full season of the Intercollegiate Speedball League, which makes it all the more enjoyable. A Short Rundown of the Site

Now that we are in the speedball offseason, we will be spending most of our time on website development and speedball expansion. As most of you know by now, speedball is  a game that is played many different ways across the country. From high school gyms to outdoor fields, people are enjoying the many different variations of the game.

KSU’s Season Wrapped Up…

As the academic semester finishes winding down and people begin to relax during the holidays, there is finally enough time to reflect on the season Kennesaw State’s Club Speedball team has had so far and the expectations for next semester.

As a team unit, first of all, few can match the growth and progression that was shown by this team from Kennesaw. When we pause to think back to this time last year, the team was almost non existent; only 7 members. Keeping this in mind, it is unbelievable how much this team has accomplished in such a short time. Completely different from the team that was killed by the Jackets during a double-header a year ago, KSU’s Club Speedball team has turned in to a competitive program that has done more than keep pace with their Georgia Tech counterparts; having numbers in the mid 20’s showing up consistently and ready to work.

Looking Back at Georgia Tech’s Season

Coming off of a successful first semester, Georgia Tech had major goals for this fall’s season. The prospects of a new freshman class and improved facilities had the team’s future looking bright. Like many new organizations, however, there were unexpected setbacks that threw the team off guard.

Kennesaw State Completes Season Sweep With Last Second Score

Both Kennesaw State and Georgia Tech arrived at the Kennesaw State University Perch facility Sunday morning with the hopes of finishing the season on a strong note. While the sun was shining, it wasn’t nearly enough to raise the freezing temperatures that greeted the two teams. Expectations for the game were tempered given the conditions, but both teams showed a strong desire to win and were noticeably more vocal than in previous games.
